Since I officially accepted my official invitation to serve in the PeaceCorps, it seems appropriate to start a record of this epic journey. I will be serving with my wife Julia with the Education Program as a Physics/Biology/Chemistry Teacher in Kenya. We leave October 1st. That gives us just under 3 months to sell all our stuff, move across country, visit with friends and family, not spend all our money, and put our affairs in order as we prepare for a 27 month commitment overseas. Am I ready for this? Either way, I couldn't be more excited.
